今回は、イースターイベントのブログシリーズ第1弾をご紹介いたします🐣✨
Hello! Welcome to the new school year.
This is Vice Principal Allie writing to you today.
I would like to share Part 1 of our three-part Easter blog series 🐣✨
今朝はいつも通り「朝の会」からスタートしました。
朝の会では、日付や天気、1日の予定についてみんなで確認します。
しかし、今日は少し特別な1日でした！
子どもたちに「今日は外でイースターエッグハントをします！」と伝えると、みんなとても嬉しそうな表情を見せてくれました。
This morning began as a typical day with our “Asa no Kai” (morning meeting).
During this time, we review the date, weather, and the plan for the day. However, today was a little bit special!
We shared with the students that we would be going outside for an Easter egg hunt—and you can imagine their excitement!
春の訪れとともに、鼻水が出るお友だちの姿も見られるようになりました。
自分で鼻をかみ、きちんと片付けまで行う姿に、子どもたちの成長を感じています。すっきりとした表情もとても印象的でした。
With the arrival of spring, some students are experiencing seasonal sniffles.
We are proud to see them independently blowing their noses and cleaning up afterwards. It’s wonderful to see how refreshed and confident they feel!
活動の前に、イアン先生がルールを説明しました。
Before we began, Ian-sensei explained the rules:
「同じ色のたまごを探しましょう！イエローラビットのお友だちは、黄色のたまごを探してね。」
子どもたちは自分がなりたい色のうさぎを選び、それぞれのグループで同じ色のたまごを12個探しました。
“Let’s look for eggs of the same color! If you are a YELLOW rabbit, please look for YELLOW eggs!”
Students were able to choose which color rabbit they wanted to be. Each group then worked to find all 12 eggs of their assigned color.
たまごを見つけたあとは、みんなで集まり、英語で数を数えました。
After collecting the eggs we gathered, together and counted them in English.
この活動を通して、色の認識や聞く力、そして英語での数の理解を楽しく育むことができました。
Through this activity, students practiced color recognition, listening skills, and early counting in a fun and engaging way.
写真をご覧いただくと分かるように、たまごは子どもたちの手にぴったりのサイズです。
You may notice that the eggs are small—just the right size for little hands!
「あれ？その色じゃないよ！」といった微笑ましい場面もありました😆
Wait! That’s not the right color! 😆
子どもたちは楽しみながら、多くのことを学ぶことができました。
We had a wonderful time celebrating and learning together.
