幼児英語から使える英語力へ。
ROYAL KIDSは話すだけでなく、「文法」も学んでいます。
今週は「ADJECTIVES（形容詞）」です。
This week we are learning about ADJECTIVES.
Why study ADJECTIVES?
It is important that at a young age the kids realize different ways describe a person, place, or thing (a NOUN) to at a young age.
This is a rule that is easy for the kids to remember and will help them understand sentences more for the Eikan Test.
なぜ「形容詞」を勉強するのか？
余談ですが、英語の参考書には「品詞」という項目がありますよね。
冠詞、名詞、動詞、形容詞など、英語には10種類の品詞があります。
基礎である品詞が理解できていないと、文法や構成が分からず、文章をきちんと読むことができません。
品詞が理解できていると英検の問題を解くときなどにも役にたちます。
Let’s start!!
As we start the lesson, the children work silently reading to themselves and deciding what words are ADJECTIVES and NOUNS.
But sometimes they need the teacher to guide them to the correct answer. 😉
ROYAL KIDSは一単語ずつ読みながら、「どれが形容詞でどれが名詞か」黙々とワークシートに取り組みます。
「アリー！ “MEAN”は、名詞？」
Just by asking questions you can the wheels turning in the kids brains.
meanをいれた文章を声に出してみましょう。
“Mean”は猫の特徴を伝えているのだから・・・形容詞！
答えを教えるのではなく、子どもたちが自分たちで考えることができるように導きます。
After finishing the worksheet, we check our answers~
ワークシートを終えると、答え合わせです♪
Now it is time for break!!

Who will be the first to get the ball on the side?
At The HOPPA Royal Kids, the children do not just study and do homework.
Between each lesson there is 5-minute break for the kids to relax.
The kids can feel comfortable and confident in the classroom, by letting them interact with the teacher and friends during the break.
ROYAL KIDSは切り替え上手♪
それぞれのレッスンの間に5分間休憩時間を設けていますが、この時間にも積極的にお友だちや先生と遊んでいますよ♪
They are not worried about what the teacher thinks if they make a mistake but are comfortable to use their voice and ask more questions.
