今回のブログは、なんと！ネイティブのKay先生が紹介します♪

Hello! This is Kay-Sensei! Let’s talk about our English time. First, we have our Deneb and Spica Class. We are learning how to say “Hello!” to our teachers.

こんにちは！ケイ先生です。

今回は、HOPPAガーデンビュー千葉駅前のEnglsih timeについてご紹介します。

初めに、デネブクラス(0歳児)とスピカクラス(1歳児)についてお話しします。子どもたちは、ネイティブの先生から“Hello”の使い方を学んでいます。

We love our Good Morning song; we are very good at dancing!

みんなは、” Good Morning song”が大好きで、ダンスがすごく得意です。

When we hear our name, we will try to raise our hand. We will try to say “Here!”.

子どもたちは自分の名前を呼ばれたら、手を挙げて返事をしようと頑張っています。そして、“Here”と英語で伝えようとしていますよ。

We are also learning about the weather. Weather happens every day, so it’s important to practice those words. We use special hand gestures to talk about weather. For example, if it’s cloudy, we will cover our eyes and wiggle our fingers. This is like the clouds in the sky.

子どもたちは、天気も学んでいます。天気は毎日変わるので、天気に関する言葉を使ってみることは、とても重要なことです。

English timeでは、特別なジェスチャーを使い天気について触れていきます。

例えば曇りの場合、目を覆ったり、指を小刻みに動かして表現します。このジェスチャーは、空に浮かぶ雲を表しています。

In our Rigar Class, we are trying to introduce ourselves. We can say our name, and how old we are.

We are also trying to use our calendar. We talk about what day it is, what month it is, and how the weather is.

リゲルクラス(2歳児)は、自己紹介にも挑戦しています。子どもたちは、自分の名前や年齢を英語で伝えられます。

そして、カレンダーも活用していますよ。みんなで、今日の日にちや月、そして天気について触れていきます。

We are practicing our dance for Sports Day. Rigar Class are so cute, please look forward to seeing the dance!

子どもたちは、運動会のダンスの練習しています。

リゲルクラス(2歳児)のダンス、ぜひ楽しみにしてくださいね！とっても可愛いですよ♪

It’s important to be polite. So Rigar Class are saying “Thank you!” when they get an item. How grown up!

礼儀ただしくすることは、とても大切なことです。

リゲルクラス(2歳児)は、物を受け取った時、“Thank you”と感謝の言葉を必ず伝えています。

子どもたちは、日々大きく成長していますよ。

We have been playing some fun games too! In this month, we have been practicing our Bugs theme. We know that these puzzle cards make a butterfly. Now, we can say what colour it is.

“It’s a green butterfly!” “It’s an orange butterfly!”

English timeでは、楽しいゲームでよく遊びます。

今月は、『虫』🦋をテーマに取り組んでいます。

子どもたちは、パズルカードで蝶々を作り、蝶々の色が何色か英語で伝えられます。

「緑色の蝶々です。」「オレンジ色の蝶々です。」などと答えられます！

In our Capella Class, we have begun writing our alphabet. It can be difficult to trace on the line, and to colour our pictures without going outside of the lines. So, we practice by using our fingers first, to understand the shape. Then we write it using our crayons.

カペラクラス(3歳児)では、アルファベットのWritingに取り組んでいます。

子どもたちにとって、線の上をたどったり、線の外にはみ出さずに色を塗る作業は、とても難しい作業です。

なので、まずは指で線をなぞり形を理解する練習をします。そして、クレヨンを使いなぞっていきます。

To help us remember what sound each letter makes, we have been playing ABC Bingo. We repeat the sound, then find the matching letter on our card.

それぞれのアルファベットを、どんな音で発音するのか覚えるために、『ABCビンゴ』で遊んでいます。

音を繰り返し聞き、音と一致するアルファベットを見つけます。

In our Craft Activity Time, we’ve been making a lot of crafts that are connected to our theme. Capella, Vega, and Sirius Class have been practicing our Sports Theme. Using our writing skills, we wrote “Go HOPPA” on our cheering flags, and now we are ready to support our friends on our Sports Day. It’s important for us to combine our writing skills with our crafting skills.

製作活動の時間では、テーマに沿った作品をたくさん作りました。

カペラクラス(3歳児)、ベガクラス(4歳児)、シリウスクラス(5歳児)は、運動会をテーマに取り組んでいます。

子どもたちは、運動会で使用する応援旗に「Go HOPPA」と書き、当日お友だちを応援する準備が整いました。

書く技術(Writing skills)と製作する技術(Crafting skills)を組み合わせることが、とても大切です。
